Once upon a time, the name Gilda meant one thing only: the actress Rita Hayworth. Hayworth was the epitome of glamor in Hollywood's glamorous heyday. The movie Gilda showed Hayworth at her most drop-dead gorgeous. Not to be presumptuous, but that's the inspiration for my Gilda, and a little bit the effect I'm aiming for: surprise, excitement, star power! The neckline is feminine, the sleeves are big. This is the dress to wear when you want them to remember you.

Details

The Gilda evening dress is in a satin viscose and features a seam under the breast to give the silhouette a very elongated bodice and length. The volume of the sleeves from the back are quite important and very feminine while keeping it all quite minimal. The jewelled necklace, which also transforms into a brooch, keeps the neckline decorated.

The dress is designed by Julie de Libran in Paris and crafted in Italy. The fabric is exclusive and made in extremely limited quantities.
