Collection > Gilda Tunic

Numbered limited edition

Once upon a time, the name Gilda meant one thing only: the actress Rita Hayworth. Hayworth was the epitome of glamor in Hollywood's glamorous heyday. The movie Gilda showed Hayworth at her most drop-dead gorgeous. Not to be presumptuous, but that's the inspiration for my Gilda, and a little bit the effect I'm aiming for: surprise, excitement, star power! The neckline is feminine, the sleeves are big. This is the dress to wear when you want them to remember you.

Crafted from Haute Couture fabric made in Switzerland. The fringed sequins are printed then cut and each layer is place on a silk organza base. It feels extremely light, like a makeup brush that creates sparks of light, metal and gold. This version has a special rounded sleeve that gives volume to the top and sides when the arms are in movement. To be worn as a tunic, with stockings or with evening pants. Or jeans for a dinner and to a dancing party. Can be also worn belted at the waist.

The dress is designed by Julie de Libran in Paris and crafted in Italy. The fabric is exclusive and made in extremely limited quantities.
